Yaz Plus 28 Tab is a tablet used as a contraceptive method. It contains a combination of two hormones: estrogen (ethinyl estradiol) and progestin (drospirenone). It is primarily used for birth control and also contains calcium levomefolate, a type of vitamin B.

Yaz Plus Benefits and Uses

• Yaz Plus contains two synthetic female hormones:

• Drospirenone (3.0 mg): A type of progestin.

• These two hormones mimic the natural hormones produced by a woman’s body.

How Yaz Plus Works

Yaz Plus birth control pills function through two mechanisms:

• Preventing ovulation, which means stopping the release of an egg from the ovary each month.

• Altering the cervical mucus, making it thicker, which slows sperm movement through the cervix.

Other Benefits

• Drospirenone helps treat skin issues related to androgens (male hormones) by reducing androgen levels and their effects on sebaceous glands, leading to less acne.

• Calcium levomefolate in Yaz Plus provides folic acid supplementation for women using oral contraceptives. It is recommended that women who may plan pregnancy take 0.4 mg (400 mcg) of folic acid daily to reduce the risk of rare birth defects known as neural tube defects.

Indications for Use

Yaz Plus can be used for:

• Contraception (birth control).

• Treating moderate acne in women aged 14 years and older who have reached puberty and can use oral contraceptives.

• Improving folic acid levels in women using oral contraceptives.

How to use Yaz Plus

Each Yaz Plus pack contains 28 tablets:

• 24 pink "active" pills containing hormones, taken for 24 days.

• 4 light orange placebo pills (hormone-free), taken for 4 days.

• It is important to take the light orange pills because they contain folic acid. Follow the arrows on the pack to know where to start taking the pills.

4-How can I request a return or replacement?

After confirming receipt by the shipping company, the process of returning the amount* minus the shipping value will begin within 5-7 business days.

In the event of an exchange request, a new shipping value will be calculated for the new order.

5-What happens if the product arrives damaged or incorrect?
