Ingredients of Roxonin Tape 50Mg
Active Ingredient: Loxoprofen sodium hydrate 56.7mg.
Inactive Ingredients: Styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, polyisobutylene, hydrated silicon dioxide, hydrogenated rosin glycerol ester, dibutyl hydroxytoluene, l-menthol, liquid paraffin and Phosphoric acid.
What is Roxonin Tape 50Ml used for?
Roxonin Tape is used as anti-inflammatory and analgesic in the following diseases and symptoms:

Standard Usage: Apply one patch daily to the affected area
Potential Side Effects
Most side effects are local or mild. Common reactions include:

Skin irritation at application site: redness, itching, rash, contact dermatitis, or pruritus.

Blistering or swelling: occasional, at the patch site.
-
Gastrointestinal upset: stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, or loose stools (rare, due to minimal systemic absorption).
Severe systemic effects are uncommon but possible with any NSAID:

Allergic reactions: Rarely, urticaria (hives), edema, or anaphylaxis (shock) can occur.

Liver enzyme changes: Infrequently, mild increases in liver enzymes have been reported.

Contraindications
Do not use Roxonin Tape in these situations:

Avoid use during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Warnings and Precautions

External use only: For skin application only. Do not apply under occlusive (airtight) dressings. Avoid eyes, mouth, or other mucous membranes. Wash hands after applying.

Skin checks: Examine the skin under the patch daily. Discontinue if severe irritation or hypersensitivity appears.

Allergic reaction: Immediately remove patch and seek medical help if shortness of breath, wheezing, facial swelling, or generalized rash occurs.

Asthma/history of NSAID allergy: Use with caution in patients with asthma or nasal polyps, as NSAIDs can precipitate bronchospasm.

Kidney disease: Although systemic levels are low, use cautiously in severe renal impairment (monitor creatinine and blood pressure).

Drug Interactions
