Restasis eye drops uses

Restasis eye drops are used to increase tear secretion in patients with reduced tear production due to ocular inflammation associated with keratoconjunctivitis sicca.

Dosage and Instructions for Use

  • Instill one drop in each eye twice daily (every 12 hours).

  • Restasis can be used alongside artificial tears, but they should be administered at least 15 minutes apart.

  • Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to the eye’s surface during use.

  • Contact lenses should be removed before using Restasis.

  • Lenses may be reinserted 15 minutes after instilling the drops.
