Optidex T Eye Drops are used to treat eye inflammation caused by bacterial infections. They contain a powerful antibiotic effective against stubborn bacteria, along with a potent anti-inflammatory agent.
Optidex T Eye Drops ingredients
Each 1 mL of Optidex T sterile ophthalmic suspension contains:

3 mg Tobramycin: An antibiotic effective in eliminating infection-causing bacteria in the eye.

1 mg Dexamethasone: A corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation effectively.

Optidex T eye drops are used to treat:

Optidex T eye drops dosage

Instill 1 to 2 drops in each eye every 4 to 6 hours, or as directed by your doctor.

In the first 24 to 48 hours, the dosage may be increased to 1–2 drops every 2 hours.

Do not stop using the drops before completing the full course of treatment.

Consult your doctor before using Optidex T if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Remove contact lenses before applying the drops; you may reinsert them after 15 minutes.
Optidex T eye drops side effects
Using Optidex T for prolonged periods may increase the risk of glaucoma; intraocular pressure should be monitored if the treatment lasts more than 10 days.
It may also lead to secondary infections, including new fungal infections in the eye, so it is crucial to adhere to the treatment duration prescribed by your doctor.
Contraindications
Do not use Optidex T eye drops if you have:

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Herpes simplex keratitis

Viral eye infections

Mycobacterial infections of the eye

Fungal eye infections

After removal of a foreign body from the cornea without complications

Glaucoma
Storage

Keep out of reach of children.

Store at a temperature between 15–25°C.

Do not use the drops for more than one month after opening.

5-What happens if the product arrives damaged or incorrect?
