Maxitrol Eye Drops 5 ml help relieve eye inflammation and protect against bacterial infections, thanks to a combination of effective antibiotics.

Maxitrol Eye Drops Composition

Maxitrol contains a steroid, dexamethasone, to reduce inflammation, along with two antibiotics to fight bacterial infections:

• Neomycin sulfate

• Polymyxin B sulfate

Maxitrol eye drops uses

Maxitrol eye drops are used for short-term treatment of eye inflammation when an antibiotic is also required to prevent or treat bacterial infection.

Maxitrol eye drops dosage

• The recommended dose is 1–2 drops in the affected eye up to 6 times daily, or more if needed.

• Remove contact lenses before using the drops, and they may be reinserted 15 minutes later.

• Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye’s surface during use.

• Avoid prolonged use, as it may increase the risk of eye infection or raised intraocular pressure.

Maxitrol Side Effects

Maxitrol eye drops may cause some side effects, such as:

• Eye irritation.

• Eye itching.

• Increased intraocular pressure.

• Blurred vision.

• Thinning of the corneal surface.

Contraindications

Do not use Maxitrol eye drops in cases of:

• Hypersensitivity to any of its components.

• Untreated eye infections, including viral, fungal, or tuberculous infections.

• Eye redness without medical examination.

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless under medical supervision.

Drug Interactions

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Maxitrol, especially if you are taking:

• Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

• Ritonavir

• Diabetes medications

After confirming receipt by the shipping company, the process of returning the amount* minus the shipping value will begin within 5-7 business days.

In the event of an exchange request, a new shipping value will be calculated for the new order.

5-What happens if the product arrives damaged or incorrect?

In the event that the wrong product arrives from the shipping company (except for refrigerator medicines, milk, and baby food) or the wrong product arrives from Al-Jawaher Al-Mumayaz Pharmacy, please contact customer service, and after confirming the problem, the amount will be returned to the customer after the product is delivered to the shipping company.
