Ivarin 10 Mg 30 Tablets

Ivarin 10 Mg 30 Tablets contain the active ingredient Rosuvastatin, a statin medication used to lower low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides, raise high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, and help prevent heart disease and strokes. It works by inhibiting the liver enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, thereby reducing cholesterol production and increasing the liver’s ability to remove excess cholesterol from the blood.

Ivarin 10 mg uses

• Lowers LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.

• Increases HDL cholesterol.

• Treats hyperlipidemia and mixed dyslipidemia.

• Treats heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia in adults and children from 8 years, and homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia in children from 7 years.

How to Use ivarin 10 mg

• Usual adult dose: 5 mg or 10 mg once daily; may be increased gradually every 4 weeks up to 20 mg, with a maximum of 40 mg daily.

• For children: dosage depends on age and genetic condition.

• Can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not stop the medication without medical advice.

• If taking an antacid containing aluminum or magnesium, wait 2 hours after taking Ivarin.
