Gynera 21 Tablets is a medication used as a contraceptive. It is a combined oral contraceptive that contains two types of female hormones: Ethinylestradiol (a synthetic form of estrogen) and Gestodene (a synthetic form of progesterone). These hormones work together to effectively prevent pregnancy.

Benefits of Gynera tablets

Gynera tablets are used as a contraceptive method as they contain a combination of estrogen and progestin, which prevent pregnancy by:

• Inhibiting ovulation (preventing the release of an egg from the ovary).

• Altering the thickness of the uterine lining, making it unsuitable for egg implantation.

• Thickening cervical mucus, making it difficult for sperm to reach and fertilize the egg.

How to Use Gynera contraceptive pills 

• Gynera comes in a strip of 21 tablets, each labeled with a day of the week.

• Take one tablet daily at the same time each day.

• Start with the tablet that corresponds to the current day of the week.

• Follow the direction of the arrows on the strip and complete all 21 tablets without interruption.

• Swallow each tablet whole with water if needed (do not chew the tablets).

• After finishing the 21 tablets, you will have seven tablet-free days. For example, if your last tablet was on a Friday, you will start the new pack on the following Saturday.

• During this break, withdrawal bleeding similar to a menstrual period may occur. It may not stop entirely by the time you start your next strip.

• There is no need for additional contraceptive methods during these seven pill-free days, provided you have taken the tablets correctly and start the new strip on time.

• Gynera does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs). It is recommended to use additional protection methods, such as condoms, when needed.

Starting Gynera for the First Time or After a Break

• If you are taking Gynera for the first time or resuming it after a break, it is best to start on the first day of your menstrual cycle. This provides immediate protection against pregnancy from the first dose.

Side effects of Gynera

• Nausea.

• Stomach pain.

• Weight gain.

• Headache.

• Depressed mood or mood swings.

• Breast tenderness or pain.

Precautions and Warnings

Gynera should not be used if you have any of the following conditions:

• A current or previous blood clot (such as deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism).

• A history of heart disease or stroke.

• Uncontrolled high blood pressure.

• Certain types of migraine headaches.

• Liver disease.

• Breast cancer.

After confirming receipt by the shipping company, the process of returning the amount* minus the shipping value will begin within 5-7 business days.

In the event of an exchange request, a new shipping value will be calculated for the new order.

5-What happens if the product arrives damaged or incorrect?

In the event that the wrong product arrives from the shipping company (except for refrigerator medicines, milk, and baby food) or the wrong product arrives from Al-Jawaher Al-Mumayaz Pharmacy, please contact customer service, and after confirming the problem, the amount will be returned to the customer after the product is delivered to the shipping company.

6-What happens if the product arrives opened or used?
