Ferose F tablet is a dietary supplement that contains iron and folic acid. They are used for the treatment and prevention of iron and folic acid deficiencies, as well as improving hemoglobin levels, increasing energy, and supporting general health.

Indications for Use

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to iron(III)-hydroxide polymaltose complex, folic acid, or any of the other components of the medication.

• Elevated iron levels in the body, such as in hemochromatosis or hepatic hemosiderosis.

• Disorders of iron metabolism, such as anemia caused by lead poisoning or thalassemia.

• Megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency.

• Phenylketonuria (PKU).

• Visible iron deficiency during pregnancy: Take 2-3 tablets daily until hemoglobin levels reach normal levels, then continue with one tablet daily until the end of pregnancy to replenish iron stores in the body.

• Hidden iron deficiency and prevention of iron and folic acid deficiency: Take one tablet daily.

• The daily dose can be taken in one dose or divided.

• It should be taken with food or immediately after meals.

• Tablets can be swallowed or chewed.
