What is the content of AZARGA?
Azarga contains the active ingredients:

Brinzolamide 10 mg/ml: Reduces aqueous humor production by inhibiting the carbonic anhydrase enzyme, slowing fluid formation, and lowering intraocular pressure.

Timolol Maleate 5 mg/ml: A beta-blocker that also reduces aqueous humor production and facilitates its drainage from the eye.
What is AZARGA eye drops used for?
Azarga is used for:

Azarga eye drops dosage

Instill Azarga eye drops into the affected eye(s) twice daily.

Maintain a 5-minute gap between Azarga and any other eye drops.

Close the eyes for 2 minutes and press the corner of the eye (near the nose) with a fingertip to prevent the active ingredients from being absorbed systemically, ensuring they stay in the eye.

Avoid contact of the dropper tip with the eye surface during use.

Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting them.
Onset of Action
Azarga reaches its peak effect within 2 hours of application but may take weeks to show significant reduction in intraocular pressure.
