Apigen Bacterial Infection Eye/Ear Drops 10 Ml, are used to treat bacterial infections, whether in cases of conjunctivitis (eye infection) or external ear infections.

Apigen Drops ingredients

Apigen drops contain the antibiotic Gentamicin, which fights the bacteria responsible for infections in the eye or ear.

Apigen eye/ear drops uses

Apigen drops are used for:

• Treating superficial bacterial infections in parts of the eye such as the cornea, eyelid, conjunctiva, or skin around the eye.

• Preventing eye infections in cases of injury, after removal of a foreign body, or following burns.

• Preventing infection before and after eye surgeries.

• Treating bacterial external ear infections.

Instructions for Use

• The doctor determines the appropriate dose of Apigen drops.

• Usual dose: 2 drops in the affected eye 3 or 4 times daily.

• The dose may be increased in severe infections and reduced toward the end of treatment.

• For acute corneal ulcers caused by Pseudomonas: 1–2 drops in the eye every 15 minutes.

• For infection prevention after eye injury: 1–2 drops 3 or 4 times daily until signs of inflammation disappear.

• For infection prevention before surgery: 1–2 drops in each eye 4–5 times daily, preferably within 8 hours before the operation.

• Ear dosage: 3 or 4 drops in the affected ear 3 times daily.

• Drops should be applied while lying down with the affected ear facing up, and remain in this position for a while to ensure the medication passes through the ear canal.
