Advil 200 Mg 24 Tablets

Advil Tablets  contain ibuprofen, which belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines work by changing how the body responds to pain, swelling and high temperature.

Ingredients of Advil 200 Mg

• Active Ingredient: Ibuprofen 200 mg.
  
  

• Inactive Ingredients: acesulfame potassium, caramel color, carnauba wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, copovidone, ferric oxide, hypromellose, mannitol, medium-chain triglycerides, microcrystalline cellulose, natural and artificial flavor, pharmaceutical ink, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate, sucralose, titanium dioxide.

What is Advil 200 Mg used for?

temporarily relieves minor aches and pains due to:

•  headache

•  toothache

•  backache

•  menstrual cramps

•  the common cold

•  muscular aches

•  minor pain of arthritis

•  temporarily reduces fever

Advil 200 Mg Dosage

• Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms persist. If pain or fever does not respond to 1 tablet, 2 tablets may be used. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.
  
  

• Children under 12 years: Consult a doctor.

If you take more Advil than you should

Overdose symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, drowsiness, dizziness, and, in severe cases, kidney failure or seizures. Seek immediate medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center if an overdose is suspected.

If you forget to take a dose at the right time

Since Advil is used when needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. Skip any missed dose if it's almost time for your next dose. Do not use two doses at one time.

Warnings

Allergy alert:

Ibuprofen may cause a severe allergic reaction, especially in people allergic to aspirin. Symptoms may include:

• hives

• facial swelling

• asthma (wheezing)

• skin reddening

• rash

• blisters

If an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical help right away.

Stomach bleeding warning:

This product contains an NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding. The chance is higher if you:

• are age 60 or older

• have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems

• take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug

• take other drugs containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs [aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others]

• take more or for a longer time than directed

Heart attack and stroke warning:

NSAIDs, except aspirin, increase the risk of heart attack, heart failure, and stroke. These can be fatal. The risk is higher if you use more than directed or for longer than directed.

Do not use

• if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/fever reducer

• right before or after heart surgery

Ask a doctor before use if:

• you have problems or serious side effects from taking pain relievers or fever reducers

• you have a history of stomach problems, such as heartburn

• you have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, kidney disease, asthma, or had a stroke

• you are taking a diuretic

• taking aspirin for heart attack or stroke, because ibuprofen may decrease this benefit of aspirin

• taking any other drug

Stop using Advil if:

• you experience any of the following signs of stomach bleeding:

• feel faint

• vomit blood

• have bloody or black stools

• have stomach pain that does not get better

• you have symptoms of heart problems or stroke:

• chest pain

• trouble breathing

• weakness in one part or side of body

• slurred speech

• leg swelling

• pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days

• fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days

• redness or swelling is present in the painful area

• any new symptoms appear

Advil 200 Mg for Children and adolescents

Advil 200 mg tablets are not recommended for children under 12 years of age. For younger children, pediatric formulations of ibuprofen should be used under medical supervision. 

Advil 200 Mg for Pregnancy and breast-feeding 

If pregnant or breast-feeding,ask a health professional before use. It is especially important not to use ibuprofen at 20 weeks or later in pregnancy unless definitely directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery.

Drug Interactions

Ask your doctor before using Advil if you take an antidepressant. Taking certain antidepressants with an NSAID may cause you to bruise or bleed easily.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using ibuprofen with any other medications, especially:

• cyclosporine

• lithium

• methotrexate

• a blood thinner (warfarin, Coumadin, Jantoven)

• heart or blood pressure medication, including a diuretic or "water pill"

• steroid medicine (such as prednisone)

4-How can I request a return or replacement?

5-What happens if the product arrives damaged or incorrect?

In the event that the wrong product arrives from the shipping company (except for refrigerator medicines, milk, and baby food) or the wrong product arrives from Al-Jawaher Al-Mumayaz Pharmacy, please contact customer service, and after confirming the problem, the amount will be returned to the customer after the product is delivered to the shipping company.

If the product arrives opened or used, the return request will be denied.
