Ganfort Eye Drops 3 Ml

Ganfort eye drops contain two active ingredients that work together to lower elevated intraocular pressure and treat glaucoma, thereby protecting the optic nerve—responsible for vision—from damage caused by high eye pressure.

Ingredients of Ganfort Eye Drops

Each 1 ml of Ganfort contains:

• 300 micrograms of Bimatoprost: Lowers eye pressure by increasing the drainage of intraocular fluid.

• 5 mg of Timolol: Reduces the production of intraocular fluid by blocking beta receptors in the eye, thereby decreasing eye pressure.

Ganfort eye drops are used for:

• Treatment of glaucoma

• Reducing elevated intraocular pressure

Ganfort Dosage and Instructions for Use

• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and method of using Ganfort.

• The usual dose is one drop in the affected eye once daily, preferably at the same time each day.

• Contact lenses must be removed before using the drops. They can be reinserted 15 minutes after application.

• Wait at least 5 minutes before using any other eye drops.

• If using an eye gel or ointment, it should be applied after using Ganfort, not before.

Side Effects of Ganfort Eye Drops

Ganfort may cause some side effects, such as:

• Eye redness

• Burning or stinging sensation in the eye

• Eyelid redness and itching

• Darkening of the eyelid or skin around the eye

• Increased eyelash length

• Eye irritation

• Runny nose
